Client: Staples, Inc.
Objective: Utilize Staples Invention Quest promotion platform to enhance the perception that Staples and Staples brand products stand for innovation and commitment to easy.
Tactic: Contest where consumers submit inventions that make their “work day” easier. Three contests established in 3rd IQ program. Consumers, Associates and Kids (8-12 yrs. Old.)
Mechanics: Consumers were directed to the promotional site to explain their Invention (in 500 words or less) and upload a sketch or visual of their invention.
Prizes: Five Finalists from each of the three contests received a trip to NYC and the opportunity to present their Inventions to the panel of final judges. One Grand prize winner was determined from EACH of the three contests received $25,000 and the opportunity to receive an exclusive global licensing agreement. |
